Operating since its inception in 2011, Bundaberg City Rollers is the Original Premium Roller Derby League in Bundaberg, Queensland.  We are a not for profit Incorporation run by members of our Roller Derby Community for the benefit of our league and our skating members.  We train at the YMCA – 7 Quinn Street, Bundaberg.

The members of our league, both skating and non-skating, are strong, motivated women, men and children.  Yes we said “men” who train hard and work hard in organising and promoting the sport of Roller Derby in Regional Queensland and as most of our coaches have a healthcare background.  We also believe in promoting healthy lifestyles through physical activity.

Bundaberg City Rollers also have a Junior League and we are the 2nd Queensland league to have developed the Junior arm with Cairns being the first.   Junior Roller Derby is non-contact. Our Coaches are nationally accredited with the Australian Sports Commission and hold current Blue Cards and Senior First Aid Certificate.. We encourage all Junior Rollers (both male and female) to participate in and develop their skating skills in a fun and supportive environment at their own pace.

While only women and juniors compete at competition level, Bundaberg City Rollers would also like to invite any male skaters who are interested in Referee positions or interested in being part of a Men’s Derby team (Merby) to drop in and check us out.
